Choosing the Scholarship Recipients

Recipient(s) will be selected each spring for the following Fall and Spring semesters.

Each recipient will be selected by a committee of faculty appointed by the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at UCO.

Scholarship Criteria:

Interested students must:

1. Complete the application and transcript.

2. Be a Professional Media major.

3. Be a Junior or Senior with at least one more semester remaining before graduation.

4. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA overall.

5. Have successfully completed 4 of the required courses in the Professional Media degree program.

6. Have a desire to begin a career in broadcasting after graduation.

The scholarship is awarded every year in April.
